There is comfort in the comforting of others

 Each time Karen Gerstenberger finishes a seam or pins on a binding, she is comforted. Each time she drops off a stack of quilts at Seattle Children’s Hospital, she is comforted. And each time a scared, sick child finds a homemade quilt sitting on a sterile hospital bed, she is comforted.
